Welcome to the online home of the Torkard Ensemble.

We're a community music organisation, based in Hucknall, Nottingham. We have all sorts of opportunities to make and hear music, including a traditional choir, a community choir, a small orchestra and a youth music project.

We believe that music is good for you and that making or hearing music should be accessible to everyone. We love to share our love of music with the community.

NEWS
You can hear us every month at our Lunchtime Recitals. Join us on the third Friday of every month for 45-60 minutes of themed music. For more information and dates, click here.

It's our 15th birthday year! So far this year, we've flash-mobbed the market, run a course for people who think they can't sing, led a singalong at Harrier house and formed a new Hucknall Community Choir. The next part of our celebrations will be our World Prom concert on 19th July. Book your ticket here.
We're always happy to welcome new members or find new opportunities to share music in the local community. Find out about us or get in touch if you'd like to know more.

Love to sing but don't want to commit to a traditional choir? Why not give our Community Choir a go? We meet every other Wednesday (in term time) and sing for fun. Find out about us or get in touch if you'd like to know more.
The Torkard Ensemble would like to thank Grant Herrod and Chris Nicholls for most of the photos on our site. Chris is also responsible for our brilliant concert lighting - you can find him at Nicholls Production.
